Allows control of the three main elements of air quality; indoor-temperature, humidity and particulate matter in the air. The lack of control of one of these elements can contribute heavily in system and component failures.

Ceiling - Mounted Cooling Units

Only 24 inches high, and designed for environments where floor space is limited, Ceiling-Mounted Units provide extremely flexible installation options. Split or packaged systems are available with up to 13 ton capacities for larger cooling needs, and supply/returns can be either direct or ducted.

When floor space is at a minimum but larger amounts of cooling are required, the LCS™ design fits the bill.  DX units have either single or dual circuits.
Air cooled units have either remote outdoor condensers or condensing units. Designed for draw through application, the computer-selected coil offers greater efficiency in the cooling and dehumidification process. Air bypass is provided to prevent saturated air from being introduced into the controlled space.
LCS are shipped with the Mini Data Alarm Processor-II, a microprocessor controller.

All ceiling systems come with either R-410a or R-407c.


Mini Plus Ceiling Data aire

The Mini-Plus Ceiling is designed for environments where floor space is at a premium. Engineered to be ducted above ceiling applications, the Mini-Plus is available in a wide range of system configurations and functions with independence from other building air conditioning and ventilation systems. Air-cooled systems are either packaged or split type. Split systems may be ordered with indoor or outdoor condensers and condensing units. Standard units are shipped with a thermostat and sub-base for remote wall mounting. The Mini Data Alarm Processor-II is available as a wall-mounted option.
All ceiling systems come with either R-410a or R-407c.

Mini Ceiling Data aire

The Mini Ceiling is the perfect environmental control system for small computer centers, electronic, telephone, and battery rooms, or wherever spot cooling may be necessary and space is a problem. Designed with a vertical supply and return plenum that fits a 2 ft x 4 ft standard T-bar, the Mini Ceiling offers an unsurpassed combination of features and options along with a high standard of performance.
Mini Ceiling Systems are available as air-cooled, water cooled, or chilled water systems with a variety of return and supply air arrangements. Air cooled can be specified as packaged indoor units or split systems with either remote outdoor condensers or condensing units.

System controls by Data Aire are capable of precisely monitoring one or more air conditioning units. These easily programmed controls provide maximum flexibility in defining total system operation.  With the addition of a communication card, which can be installed at the factory or in the field, the units can communicate with most popular building management systems (BMS). System Controls can be remotely accessed to receive any alarms or detailed reports.

dap4 control system is the fastest and most advance microprocessor controller available on the market today. It has all the functionality of previous Data Aire controllers and provides a solid platform for future growth. The system is comprised of two components – a display module and a control module. The display module includes a backlit liquid crystal display and six buttons for easy programming and communication. All programming, status and alarm conditions are displayed on the module in easy to read verbiage. The control module is mounted inside the unit and connected to the display module via a special “telephone” like cable.

The DAP III is a self-contained multi-microprocessor based control and monitor system. It features flash memory and a USB port – allowing quick updates or modifications to firmware. DAP III was developed on a modular design platform with the basic components being the Display Module and Control Module. The Display Module features two rows of 40 character liquid crystal display for easy programming and diagnostic functions.  It also houses the optional communications card, allowing communication with most major building management systems (BMS). The Control Module is mounted on the unit and connected using a CAT-5 cable. These two modules comprise the most basic control system, the Mini DAP III, which is an option on all Data Aire ceiling mounted systems.
Floor units also use the Display and Control Module but require the Control Expansion Module to provide additional control and monitor functionality. All three modules are standard on floor units. When additional input, output or control logic is required, Analog and Relay Modules can be added. These can be field installed.

The Data Alarm Processor-II (DAP-II) is the earlier, legacy version of the now standard Data Alarm Processor III, and was included on all floor-mounted units for over ten years prior to the introduction of the DAP III in late 2008. It was also an option for ceiling-mounted units during that same period of time.

The Mini Data Alarm Processor-II is a, one row, 16 character control that not only monitors the controlled environment’s humidity, air flow, and cleanliness, but also provides alarm history and an automatic self-test of the microprocessor on system start-up. Multiple messages are displayed by scrolling from each message to the next. All messages are presented on the liquid crystal display (LCD). Multiple alarms are displayed sequentially in order of occurrence. In addition, the Mini Data Alarm Processor-II has an inclusive seven day programming format for unoccupied or low demand periods. This secondary schedule can minimize equipment runtimes, reducing energy consumption and provide cost savings.

The Data Aire Relay Autochangeover (DARA-4) ensures that all units in operation at a location wear at an equal rate. There are a variety of options:  The controller has the capability of rotating 2, 3, or 4 units. The rotation can be set to 4, 8, 12, or 24 hours, or 7, 14, or 30 days. You can also choose not to rotate any units if desired.
